Sometimes people ask me what they can do as a 'thank you' for maintaining the FAQ/Knowledgebases for the HP Digital Entertainment Center, the HP DVD Movie Writer, and the HP Media Vault and for their associated Yahoo Groups which in total comprise over  5000 members.  When I was still working for HP, some people had even gone so far as to track down my boss to send an email of appreciation for going above and beyond  the call of duty.  These were nice gestures and I very much appreciated them.  I provide this information without any strings attached, so you're under no obligation to do anything but if you want to do something that that would be beneficial for both of us, you can request to join our networks on LinkedIn.    Something else to consider is to start your own website or blog to provide information for others.  You can write about any topic you like with the intent of helping others, even people who you don't know and may never meet.  I've often wished that when I purchased a product that I could somehow directly interact with the designer, and perhaps get information that would otherwise be hard to find, and that's what motivated me to start these web pages.  If you're in a similar situation, please consider sharing your expertise with others.

As for LinkedIn, if you're not already a member, joining LinkedIn is free and is an excellent way to build a professional network.  You can add me as a friend through LinkedIn using this email address:   lee810@yahoo.com

When you attempt to add me to your network, LinkedIn will ask how you know me.  You can identify yourself as a friend.  Please edit the generic invitation message to let me know you've found me via one of my FAQ's.   If you're completely new to LinkedIn, please refer to a few blog articles I've written about it.

My LinkedIn profile can be found here.

Thanks,

Lee Devlin
