Greeley is a city of with a population of about 77,000 in Northern Colorado. It is located about 50 miles north of Denver and 50 miles south of Cheyenne, WY. It is home to the University of Northern Colorado. Cities close to Greeley are Loveland (20 mi.) and Fort Collins (25 mi.). Greeley is located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The mountains begin about 25 miles to the west. We have a nice panoramic view of the Rockies and it's not unusual to have more than 100 mile visibility because of Colorado's dry climate.

Here is an aerial view of my neighborhood  that I took from my LongEZ while flying over west Greeley.

I am an independent engineering consultant with my own company, Devlin Consulting, Inc. and work with other companies on new product development.  Prior to that, I worked for HP for 24 years where I was a Systems Architect.   You can see my professional profile on LinkedIn if you're curious about more details of the type of work I did when I was there and more details on my background.

I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, around Wilkes-Barre and graduated from Penn State University.   I have two Master's degrees, one in Industrial Engineering and another in Electrical Engineering.  I am a licensed Professional Engineer.  I am also an instrument rated pilot.
