If something goes wrong, you may brick your MV2. This is a condition where your MV2 is useless, until it is recovered with a special utility from HP. If your MV needs to be de-bricked, all of your data/settings may be deleted.

Now, when you reboot your MV2, rc.bootup will look for "startup.sh" in the root directory of your MV2. If startup.sh is found, it will be executed.
