Ponnequin Wind Farm Tour
The Northern Colorado Clean Energy Network will be organizing a plant tour of the Ponnequin Wind Farm.
Date/Time: Meet on Friday, November 30th, 2007 at 8:30 a.m.
Meeting place: Northwest corner of Harmony Road/I-25 park-and-ride in Fort Collins, CO
The park-and-ride is located just north of the first traffic light when you head west on Harmony Road from I-25.
We will be carpooling and departing at 8:35 a.m.
Directions from Harmony/I-25 intersection
Go north on I-25 for 36 miles, cross into Wyoming and take Exit 2 for Terry Ranch Road/WY-223
Turn right on to Terry Ranch Road and in .2 miles, turn left to stay on Terry Ranch Road/WY-223. In another 2.3 miles, you'll see the Ponnequin Entrance gate to your right.
We will Meet Ken Bolin of Xcel Energy at the Ponnequin entrance gate at 9:30 a.m. The tour takes about 1.5 hours.
