Greetings from Singapore. I've been in here for the past 4 days experiencing temperatures and humidities in the 90s, but I'm not sure that it's any worse than being in Colorado (I noticed a high of 21F and a low of 4F reported there today). I left Greeley on Friday, and took the longest ever commercial flight from LA direct to Singapore. It was 18 hours. This flight has only been available for a week and was enabled by the new long-range A345 aircraft which is just coming into service. To be honest, I was dreading it, but I found out later that the economy seats had amenities that you'd previously only find in business class.

For example, all the seats had their own entertainment systems which allowed you to choose from dozens of movies which had pause, rewind, and fast forward features. Now that's a first! They had extra leg room, leg rests, foot rests, and even power and Internet connections for your laptop. Also, Singapore Airlines doesn't edit all of the movies so that they are rated G like the US airlines do. That editing takes a good movie and turns into something quite unlike the original.

There were about 20 reporters flying on this historic flight to give their impressions on what it was like and I was interviewed by reporters from the Singapore Straits Times and The Australian.

My trip took me into Malaysia a few times to visit with our vendors and they were all very nice. The people are polite and friendly and we got a lot of things accomplished. I'll be heading back to Colorado tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

I hope all of you are well and surviving the winter, especially on the East Coast, which I understand has been pummeled by very cold and snowy weather this year.
