Hi everyone. I guess it's been a busy week for everyone since no one has added to the blog. I take it Lee is having a great time at Oshkosh. The days are getting closer to the reunion. From the last update Lee did, it looks like the reunion committe has planned a great time. The last update is 79 classmates will/might be attending the reunion. I still am unsure as to whether I will be coming. I have some personal and business issues that need my attention. I still have my travel agent holding a reservation for me.
I want you all to know how great it has been to have a touch of home for me. I have been away from the valley for 10 years now. I have been back once for about 30 hours. Short and too sweet. Living in a forgien country has given me a deep appreciation for home. Home not only in the sense of the United States, but home as in the Wyoming Valley. These past few months have been very special for me. Special in the sense to be able to "go back home" with people who I grew up with.
For the past year, Karen has been great updating me about my old neighborhood. Lee has added pics to the blog which I was able to share with family and friends here. Someday I hope to get back home with my husband and my children.
Those of you that still live in the Valley or can frequent home on a regular basis are blessed. In turn you have blessed me with your updates.
Thanks!
