Hello Alumni,
Well, the time has finally arrived. I spoke with Arlene today and believe it or not, the invitations are in the mail. I must sincerely apologize for the lateness as I recently had an unexpected death in my husband's family, some of you may even know him, his name was Dr. Thomas Baker, he died unexpectedly at home at the age of 55 and Arlene herself wasn't well that week either, so I again apologize for the lateness of the invitations, to further the delay the person at Office Max that was handling the invitations gave us great ideas to cut costs, however, in the middle of her creating the invitations, she was promoted, so what should have normally taken about 3 days took a week and a half, maybe this is a good thing as many people are still deciding whether or not to go. We realize the expense, and we tried to do as much as possible to cut costs, some fellow alumni are planning to attend the tour with their families, and going to the reunion itself solo just to save some costs for themselve, that's another good idea. We realize that VP will be crowded, so if you think it will be too crowded, there's always Rich's Golf, or Mcdonald's right next door. The entire idea of this Reunion was to 1. Have a 25th Class Reunion and 2. Renew old friendships and 3. Have fun. Just to give some updated information, all but 9 students have been contacted as we believe we have incorrect addresses for the following: Pier Carros, Monica Fabian, Karen Krischunis, Sandra Mahalick, Debra Forte, Donna Reese, Cynthia Toole, Ann Marie Yatsko and John Roach. If anyone has information please contact me at doolfan@sunlink.net and I'll be glad to update our list. We are also the biggest bunch of procrastinators as we're still awaiting pics of most of you for our memory book, these could be candid pics of your recent vacation or just you and your children/grandchildren etc.. Ann Marie, thanks again for all the compliments, but if someone really deserves compliments, here goes, Mike and Chuck for their help, Arlene, the backbone of reunion arrangements and Lee for this awesome website, in closing we should also compliment Lee's wife Terri, because it is very noticeable that he spends a lot of time on this website and making it enjoyable for the alumni and Ann Marie, here's an offer you can't refuse, if you make it in for the reunion, the night we meet at VP I'll buy you a few slices of pizza, heck, I'll even throw in some beer with it too, think about it.
