I am back from the big airshow and convention at Oshkosh. It's quite a spectacle and I've been attending since 1990 and have only missed two. If you like airplanes, I'd highly recommend it. It is not only the world's largest airshow, but the world's largest convention of any kind with attendances between 750,000 to 850,000. When I got home, I found the Blue Angels at my home airport at Loveland. The local airshow created quite a bit of congestion since they just weren't prepared to handle the crowd which I understand exceeded 60,000. A friend told me it took him over 4 hours to drive to the airshow and he lives just a few miles away. By contrast, I flew the LongEZ out to Oshkosh which is 860 miles away in less than 6 hours. It helps to be able to fly over all those traffic jams .

I got the formal invitation to the reunion today and it looks really nice! Great work, Karen and Arlene and the rest of the planning committee. Now I just have to remember to write the check, fill out the flyer, and put it in the mail. I bet I'll get it done by tomorrow morning, how about you? If you haven't received yours yet, you can click on this link and get a printable PDF file of the flyer information and send it in to Arlene along with your check. Go ahead and do it now while you're thinking about it...
