Thanks Ann Marie, for your kind words and confirming the resemblance with my hero, Mr. Rogers. I wasn't fishing for compliments exactly, but what the heck, I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em

As for enjoying the Oshkosh show, I am always very happy when I'm around airplanes and I just can't get enough of them...drives Terri crazy, but what else are husbands for?

I think you outta get off of the island and kick back in the lovely Wyoming Valley to ease your mind. Sometimes we spend all of our time working at tough jobs so we can make enough money so we don't have to work at the tough jobs any more. It's called a 'deferred life program' and we are all guilty of it to some degree. Every once in a while you have to stop and smell the roses. What better way to do it than to return to your roots, meet with old friends, and talk about joyful experiences? The reunion isn't about the past, it's certainly not about the future, it's about right now which is really the only time you have. Why not enjoy it with some close friends?

For all of you out there on the fence struggling over whether you should attend a soccer game or some other obligatory function that is keeping you from having some of your own fun, just do it for you. If your spouse isn't going to have a good time because he/she won't know a soul, then leave them at home for a night. You'll be more relaxed, they'll be happier, and you can spend all your time catching up with old friends.
